Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Smith!

Congratulations to Jack and Carrie Smith who were married on Friday, July 16. The ceremony took place at Shaker Prairie Church in Carlisle with a dinner at McKinley's Orchard immediately following. I don't think the bride ever stopped smiling! Best wishes for a lifetime of happiness to you both!

2010 Sullivan County 4-H Auction

More than 300 animals were sold in the Sullivan County 4-H Auction this year — beef, poultry, sheep, swine, and rabbits. Congratulations to everyone who sold their animals and THANK YOU to all the buyers! Here are just a few photos from that big event.

Sullivan County 4-H Queen Contest

Unfortunately, I'm a wee behind on blog posts. So now I'm playing catch up.

I always look forward to photographing the Sullivan County 4-H Fair Queen Contest. The young women have so much fun and learn so much about networking, interviewing and poise. Every year they talk about how great of an experience they have. Kudos to Becky Monk Scott and her queen committee for working so hard with the girls and presenting such a quality pageant.

Congratulations to 2010 Queen Alli Creed, 1st Runner-Up Tiera Davis (also Miss Congeniality) and 2nd Runner-Up Stephanie Huff. Also, "Congrats!" to Natasha Stanifer for most photogenic sponsored by Photography by Cheryl, Angela Fleener for best smile and Kylie Unger for the annual Sally Unger award.

After the contestants present their individual speeches, Becky Monk Scott invites them (along with the judges, queen committee, and guests) to dinner.

Congratulations Alli, Tiera and Stephanie!
