4-H Clothing Fashion Review 2010
I'm a 4-H alumni. I was in 4-H for 10 years. I've also been a mini 4-H leader in Marion County. I love, love, love it!
I've been photographing the Sullivan County 4-H Fair since 1994. First while a reporter/photographer at the Sullivan Daily Times, then, from 2000 to 2006 I was the fair photographer. I still continue to do some volunteer photography for the fair.
The clothing and consumer clothing projects fashion review happens a week before the fair begins. Each 4-H'er is photographed wearing her or his outfit. That photo is placed with the project when it is hung in the 4-H building after judging. I've heard clothing judges comment that they really appreciate seeing the photos during judging because they can see how the outfit hangs on the sewer. Not all counties do this "little extra."
I'm sharing a few of those photos here. What talented youth we have! I'm confident I could learn a lot about the sewing machine from them. Congratulations to everyone (youth and adults) for all your hard work. It was fun seeing all the creations!
